Dad began writing his autobiography when he retired in 1985, and had about 2/3 of it down on paper (in his computer, at least) before he lost his vision in the spring of 2006. He dictated much of the later chapters to tape had it transcribed, and after a time learned to use his computer to write the final chapters/thoughts. Our thanks to all the people who assisted him with the transcribing, editing, and publishing.
